Hi! My name is Katie-Anne Mollison (the KAM of KAmeraShoots).
I’m a professional dancer and photographer based in NYC. As a dancer, I wanted to provide a space and experience for other artists to be able to explore themselves in new and authentic ways. Collaboration and communication are essential to my sessions; these allow you to explore a space without set rules or expectations, but I can still provide specific insight as a fellow dancer in this industry.
As someone on the spectrum, I see the world completely differently. This point of view provides a particular sparkle to everything I do. I’m here to help you push yourself to think and explore differently within a shoot, while still having fun.
The camera sees things that the human eye does not; I’m here to help you find even more uniqueness through me and the camera. It’s not all about flexibility and legs. I want to help you find movement and positions that are comfortably and authentically you!

KAMeraShoots is a female run business - with my cat, Toulouse - committed to creating a space to help explore yourself through a different lens. We strive to create an atmosphere that is encouraging, raw, and collaborative. Capturing you in the moment, rather than a perfect and prepared version of you, is our goal.
Each session with KAMeraShoots is different because every artist that enters our space is unique. We’re here to provide a professional quality experience without the high-stakes of a traditional photo shoot. These shoots are a refreshing, new way to shoot and be creative; it’s exceedingly rare to be able to be so creative unless you’re already in the field. This is a space where anyone can jump into the room and do the thing.
KAMeraShoots has worked with prestigious organizations such as Complexions, Steps on Broadway, Emily Hsu, Think Tank, and The Ensemblist. Each one of these experiences has helped us bring a new point of view back into the studio to create the most extraordinary collaborations.
